Porter County ShareFest
Each year since 2004, the Valparaiso Christian Ministerial Association has spearheaded coordination of ShareFest, a day of community service where churches unite to express their faith in action through acts of practical service.
ShareFest has truly become the catalyst that has helped many churches connect with their communities and to become more outwardly focused throughout the year. New relationships have been established between churches, schools, community leaders, and non-profit organizations. This simple idea of uniting together with other churches to demonstrate the love of Christ is the foundation of the event, now present not only in Valparaiso, but also in Portage, Chesterton, and Kouts.
